Pizza Wednesdays
You've heard it here
first... Pizza Wednesdays!
That's right, after Taco
Tuesdays (your Belly Scoop coming to you soon), it's Pizza
Wednesday - a tradition passed on to generation to generation. Our
mother prepared English Muffin Pizzas every Wednesday night and we want
to share the tradition with you!
Of course, back then, you
couldn't buy already grated cheese or already sliced pepperoni, but
that's what's so great about the brave new world!!
What used to take 15 minutes
to prepare now takes less than 5!
Here's the recipe (and we
always welcome topping variations):
1 - Package Thomas' English
Muffins (they have nooks and crannies)
1 - can of pizza sauce (already made)
12 oz. Mozzarella Cheese (get the already grated kind)
Thin slices of any of the following:
Pepperoni, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms
Directions:
Preheat oven or toaster oven to 350 degrees.
Toast english muffin halves
so they are crispy. Place them on ungreased foil lined baking
sheet (ahhh... a no mess recipe too) or in toaster oven.
Spread pizza sauce; add toppings; end with cheese on top. Place in
oven or toaster oven until cheese melts (usually about 15 minutes).
Eat and enjoy!!
Have leftovers???
We love mini-pizzas for breakfast but they're always freezable for later
date munching.
