Au
Pair Cultural Exchange Program,
In conjunction with
Universal Children’s Week
to host Free Family Day Event
Sunday October 1st,
11.30-2pm
To
celebrate and promote global understanding among the next
generation, Au Pair Cultural Exchange Program, AuPairCare, in
conjunction with Universal Children’s week is to host a free family
day event. The Au Pair Agency is holding it’s Family Fun Day on
Sunday, October 1st 2006, and while this has
traditionally been just for it’s current Host Families and Au Pairs,
this year the event is open to the public – to new families that may
be interested in getting an Au Pair.
This Family Day will be held at Rustic Canyon Recreation Center in
Pacific Palisades, and will include a ‘Foods of the World’ picnic,
craft activities, face painting and yoga class! The event is free
but donations to UNICEF will be gratefully received on the day.
Families interested in attending this event should email to register
for an invite and more information: claireaupaircare@comcast.net
About AuPairCare
AuPairCare is a Department of State sponsored
agency that assists families nationwide in finding the best, most
affordable, in-home childcare.
AuPairCare
is one of several Au Pair Programs and has placed over 25,000 au
pairs from 40 countries with families across the U.S. since 1989.
An au pair is a young adult from another country who lives with an
American family and provides flexible, affordable in-home childcare
for up to 45 hours per week. More than an experienced childcare
solution, au pairs also assist with light housekeeping and other
duties associated with childcare such as: doing children's laundry,
driving children to school and extracurricular activities, preparing
children's meals, and supervising homework. Au Pairs also offer an
international cultural exchange for families to experience alternate
cutlures. |
